About The Position

The Dixon Group is seeking a Senior Welder to join their team at the Creekside facility. This role involves manufacturing Swivel Joints and Loading Arms. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated functional expert with extensive experience in open groove pipe welding to ASME Section IX standards and a strong sense of craftsmanship. Requirements

5 to 10 years of professional production welding experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in both TIG and MIG welding is mandatory.
Must be highly competent in performing Open Groove Pipe Welds to ASME Section IX Standards.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic self-starter who is dedicated to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a welder, fabricator, or pipe fitter in related industries (e.g., energy/power generation, manufacturing/chemical processing, oil and gas refineries, or commercial infrastructure) is highly preferred.
Active welding certifications, particularly those revolving around pipe welding, are a strong plus.
Experience with structural welding and reading production prints/CAD is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Performing high-quality MIG and TIG welding on industrial fluid transfer products.
Executing precision pipe welds ranging from 1” to 24” in diameter.
Working with a wide variety of metals, from aluminum to stainless steel.
Fabricating structural components accurately to meet detailed production prints and CAD drawings.
Preparing materials for welding through sandblasting, grinding, and manual machining.
Utilizing expertise to train, coach, and support less experienced welders on the production floor.
