Senior Fabricator/Welder- TX
About The Position
MUM Industries is seeking a highly skilled Fabricator/Welder who can take a blueprint and transform raw material into a finished product. This is not a production welding position. We are looking for a craftsman who understands layout, fit-up, fabrication, and welding from start to finish. The ideal candidate can read and interpret complex shop drawings, measure and lay out material accurately, cut and form components, fit assemblies, and perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding. You take pride in building complete frames, enclosures, and assemblies while maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional workmanship.
Requirements
- Strong blueprint and shop drawing interpretation.
- Experience laying out and fitting assemblies without extensive supervision.
- Ability to modify, adjust, and troubleshoot fabrication issues.
- Skilled in MIG and/or TIG welding.
- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Commitment to quality, precision, and craftsmanship.
