About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to help shape water infrastructure projects. The role focuses on designing and evaluating water and wastewater treatment systems, providing technical guidance, managing project resources, working with clients and regulatory agencies, and overseeing construction activities. The position is with Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company. The role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the company program’s terms and conditions. All Apex positions are eligible for annual bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Professional Engineer (PE) registration, or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
10+ years of hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, with a strong understanding of technical and regulatory requirements.
B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

Design and evaluate water and wastewater treatment systems.
Create and review project documents, including construction plans and master reports.
Provide technical guidance and ensure projects and teams meet quality standards.
Manage resources to deliver projects across regions on time and to specification.
Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies on permits and compliance.
Oversee construction observation and management from project concept through completion.
