About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer to join their Water Resiliency Planning & Design Teams. This is a hybrid role that can be based in any of their Ohio locations: Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland, or Akron. The Senior Water & Hydraulic Engineer will utilize expertise in hydraulics, collection system planning, and computer modeling, along with data analytics, to guide local project teams. This role involves leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and developing new business opportunities, with the goal of protecting natural resources and contributing to climate change adaptation and urban resiliency.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire.
Strong experience with hydraulic modeling, particularly using SWMM and/or ICM.
Proficiency in GIS.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Deep understanding of wastewater hydraulic modeling and master planning.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree.
Project delivery experience.
Familiarity with computer programming tools like Power BI or Python.
