About The Position

Oxbo Forage Division is seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for agriculture. This position will have responsibilities which include delivery of new products, solving complex problems, and prioritizing and delegating work directions to engineers and/or designers.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years experience with a proven track record of completing projects in the electrical and hydraulic domains
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Control/Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
  • Zuken E3, Windchill/Solidworks PDM, 3D routing tools
  • CAN bus, J1939 (ISOBUS/ISO11783 preferred); (Codebeamer/Polarion; Office tools).
  • Agricultural machinery, off-highway, automotive, or mechatronic systems.
  • English fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop hydraulic and electrical systems to meet product requirements.
  • Solve problems as they relate to these systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers on system requirements
  • Create and maintain in E3 and Solidworks/Creo systems the electrical/hydraulic schematics.
  • Design 3D routings with Mechanical Engineers for the best routing path, including defining attachment points
  • Investigate and troubleshoot both prototypes and machines in use at customer sites.
  • Involved in research and development projects in order to continue to improve the work
  • Ensure that production and installation drawings and drawings of electrical and hydraulic components meet the required specifications
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM), options and variants for the electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Assist production with technical challenges, supply issues or other production-related problems
  • Experience with data acquisition equipment as it relates to the hydraulic field.
