About The Position

The Sr. WMS (Warehouse Management System) Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for McKesson’s Warehouse Management Systems within the MMS Supply Chain Technology organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting WMS solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and scalable distribution operations. The analyst will lead and participate in cloud-based WMS implementations, ensure seamless systems integration, and configure/customize WMS applications to meet evolving business needs. The analyst will lead and participate in the ERP advanced warehousing module to ensure stable and efficient warehouse processing.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in WMS implementation and support
  • Prior experience with cloud-based WMS platforms (like Manhattan Active)
  • Strong background in systems integration, including APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions
  • Proven expertise in configuring and customizing WMS applications to meet business requirements
  • E1 Advanced warehousing functional experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams
  • Ability to function in an ever changing environment with competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field And/or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in warehouse operations and supply chain processes
  • Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end WMS implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Configure and customize WMS applications to align with McKesson’s operational workflows, compliance standards, and performance goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, IT, Operations) to ensure WMS solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and manage integration between WMS and ERP, TMS, and other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols.
  • Provide production support for WMS applications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and integration points.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay current on WMS technology trends, especially cloud-based platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active, SAP EWM).
  • Ensure adherence to McKesson’s security, data privacy, and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Manage projects and deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Design, Configure, test and maintain Advanced Warehousing processes including inbound receiving, putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, cycle counting, and outbound shipping.
  • Investigate and resolve warehouse-related production issues, including inventory discrepancies, transaction failures, and performance issues.
