About The Position

The Senior Warehouse Associate supports Cencora’s third-party logistics service in the US through its ICS business. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with training and day-to-day tactical guidance for warehouse associates. The associate helps execute order filling, receiving, stocking, returns, shipping, and general warehouse operations, while coordinating workloads and workflow efficiencies. The position is based at 167 International Blvd., Ste A, Brooks, KY 40109, and works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to finish, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $21.26, with potential earnings up to $24.74 through various earning opportunities, including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Two or more years of work experience.
Ability to read and understand English to compare and read product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
Basic mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Overall understanding of distribution-center workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance.
Good judgment when carrying out detailed instructions.
Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
Team-oriented approach and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency operating reach trucks, picker machines, pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Train warehouse associates in their duties and responsibilities and train associates in the safe use of equipment according to SOPs.
Observe associate performance and correct behaviors as necessary.
Assist warehouse personnel with efficient order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns.
May oversee shipping and general operations, including UPS, emergency orders, and general deliveries.
Perform advanced individual-contributor tasks and make decisions based on detailed knowledge of the position and procedures.
Provide day-to-day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates.
Manage daily workloads and coordinate or recommend workflow efficiencies.
Manage inventory, including monitoring inventory levels.
May use forklifts, reach trucks, and other motorized equipment to move inventory.
Assist with department supervision, including assigning work and addressing manpower needs for vacations and building volume.
Participate in associate concerns, including reporting and follow-up to a supervisor.
Use computer system applications for proper operation and reporting.
Comply with applicable policies, procedures, safety rules, and state and DEA regulations.
Maintain a clean work area to help keep merchandise clean and prevent work-related injuries.
Maintain appropriate attendance and production standards.
Perform related duties as assigned.
