We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Volkswagen Technician to join our dynamic service department. This is a unique opportunity to further your career with a well-established, family-owned company in the Pacific Northwest! As a Master/Certified Volkswagen Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles. You will use your expertise to perform vehicle adjustments, calibrations, and repairs, ensuring all work meets Kendall and manufacturer standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of previous Volkswagen technician experience at a dealership.
- Must have the ability to work on a wide variety of Volkswagen vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds is occasionally required.
Nice To Haves
- Current Volkswagen certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and identify vehicle issues.
- Perform adjustments, calibrations, and replenishing fluids.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
- Repair or replace parts, using independent judgment when necessary.
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and resolve any remaining issues.
- Document work completed and track time per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
