About The Position
Wispr Flow is revolutionizing human-computer interaction by creating a voice dictation platform that understands users perfectly and works seamlessly across devices. Their focus is on building native actions, an agentic framework for the future. The company is experiencing rapid growth, with revenue increasing by over 150% each quarter for the last year, and has secured significant funding. They are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to elevate the product's visual appeal, making it feel alive, clean, modern, and magical. This role involves taking an existing design system foundation and infusing it with a unique aesthetic, moving beyond component maintenance to define the overall look and feel of the product suite.
Requirements
- Senior or principal-level designer with a proven ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
- Deep expertise in animation and motion design, with the technical skills for shipping motion specifications and engineering handoffs.
- Strong illustration and iconography skills, capable of defining a custom visual language.
- Experience working within a design system, understanding when to leverage it and when to deviate for enhanced user delight.
- Versatility in creating assets for both product and marketing needs.
- Digital-first portfolio (no PDFs required).
- Fluency in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Dessn, Paper, Figma) in daily workflow.
- Excitement for designing for an AI-first product.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work in concert with in-progress brand mark work for icon set development.
Responsibilities
- Uplevel product visual design across the entire product suite (desktop web app, OS flowbar, iOS and Android).
- Design and produce dev-ready motion and interactions, including animations for various product states and elements.
- Develop and deliver clean Lottie/motion files for seamless handoff to engineering.
- Option to build a custom, on-brand illustrative icon set that is specific to Wispr's features.
- Support product-marketing launches with assets such as interactive demos, storyboards, ads, and website graphics.
- Collaborate closely with product design, marketing, and engineering teams.
