Reporting to the Manager, Virtual Care within the Health Information Unit (HIU), the Senior Virtual Care Technical Specialist (Specialist) provides expert technical advice and support to the functional operation, and maintenance of the Nunavut Virtual Care Network. As the team lead, the Specialist will supervise linkages within the Nunavut Virtual Care Program and will be knowledgeable in interpreting and applying regional, territorial, national and international standards to program and network activities. As an expert in Virtual Care equipment (both hardware and software), the position will work with training coordinators to oversee training materials and work with eHealth technicians to deliver this training to all clients.
