About The Position

Socure is seeking a Senior Video Storyteller to lead the vision, quality, and development of the company's video content from start to finish. This role requires a strong storyteller with deep production knowledge who can translate business goals into compelling video, with a focus on social video. A key aspect of this role is designing and managing a decentralized capture approach, enabling teammates, field staff, and freelance crews to film in their own locations while maintaining creative integrity and brand consistency. The ideal candidate will set pre-production and post-production standards to ensure a cohesive narrative across all video content, even when produced by multiple individuals.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning video production end-to-end, from concept to final export.
• A portfolio showcasing storytelling range and results, with significant depth in social video.
• Strong hands-on craft skills in cameras, lighting, audio, and editing (Premiere, Resolve, or equivalent) sufficient to set standards.
• Experience building or operating distributed/remote capture models.
• Experience managing vendors, partners, and freelance talent.
• Producer-grade instincts for budgeting, scheduling, and on-set direction.
• A relentless, self-directed approach to solving complex creative problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision and narrative integrity of Socure's video work, from concept through final cut.
• Develop scriptwriting and storytelling that aligns with Socure's brand and business goals.
• Create best-in-class social video content tailored to specific platforms, audiences, and current trends.
• Design and implement a decentralized capture model, equipping and directing distributed teammates and freelance crews for remote shooting.
• Establish pre- and post-production standards, including shot lists, capture specifications, file handling, and brand guidelines, to ensure decentralized footage is edit-ready and coherent.
• Provide creative direction on set and remotely, including casting, hiring video talent, briefing crews, and maintaining quality across all shoots.
• Manage project logistics, budgets, and timelines with a focus on preserving the story.
• Oversee post-production quality, including editing, motion graphics, sound, color grading, and versioning for different cuts and formats.
