We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who's fast, precise, and deeply fluent in what makes performance video work. Someone who understands that great editing isn't just technical — it's storytelling. You'll own the edit across a high volume of paid social, CTV, and emerging channel content, cutting ads that stop scrolls, hold attention, and drive results. You'll work closely with creative leads and growth teams to iterate quickly, experiment constantly, and raise the bar on every asset that ships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally with significant time spent on performance or direct-response creative (paid social, DTC, app-based brands, or performance agencies).
  • Deep fluency in Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut; comfortable with After Effects for motion and basic compositing.
  • Strong performance editing instincts — you understand hooks, pacing, and CTAs, and you can feel when a cut isn't working and why.
  • Ability to operate at high volume without sacrificing quality — you're organized, fast, and consistent.
  • Motion graphics and basic color grading capability — you can deliver a finished, polished asset without needing a dedicated finisher.
  • Collaborative and communicative — you take direction well, give clear feedback, and are easy to work with across creative and growth teams.
  • AI fluency — you actively use or experiment with AI-assisted editing tools to work faster and smarter.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high volumes of performance video ads end-to-end across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, CTV, and emerging channels — from first assembly through final delivery.
  • Cut with performance instincts: building tension in hooks, controlling pacing, and constructing narratives that convert.
  • Iterate rapidly based on performance data and creative feedback — versioning, testing, and optimizing assets with speed and precision.
  • Collaborate with creative leads, producers, and growth teams to bring scripts and briefs to life, and push back constructively when the edit calls for it.
  • Handle motion graphics, basic color, and audio mixing to deliver polished, platform-ready assets without relying on additional post resources.
  • Organize and maintain an efficient editing workflow — managing project files, asset libraries, and version control across a fast-moving creative pipeline.
  • Leverage AI editing tools and generative workflows to accelerate output and unlock new creative possibilities.
  • QC all outgoing assets against platform specs and Jerry's brand standards before delivery.
