About The Position

The Senior Vice President will be responsible for the overall financial management of $60M USD revenue, including overseeing and tracking margin levels, and maintaining monthly fee and resource forecasts for each commission. This role involves managing and directing team members in their use of Financial Management Systems for revenue, cost, and profit forecasting, as well as managing debt. The position also requires managing large teams of over 240 professionals who deliver project management, cost management, and project controls services. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing the Cost Center Team’s compliance with Business Management Systems, such as operational policies, commission management, risk management reviews of contracts, NDAs, insurances, anti-bribery and corruption, and health & safety procedures. The role ensures compliance with business methodologies and client satisfaction throughout service delivery, and involves undertaking client care surveys to monitor performance. The Senior Vice President will serve as a senior-level technical knowledge resource for project management, cost management, and project controls service offerings, and provide expertise in estimating, benchmarking, and data analytics for data center sector cost validation services. Strategic responsibilities include managing market share growth, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering high-growth partnerships, and expanding service offerings. The role also involves identifying, pursuing, and closing business development opportunities, including cross-selling and leading job pitches and presentations. Staff management includes identifying resource needs, performing recruitment interviews, conducting staff performance reviews, and making hiring/firing decisions. The position serves as a senior-level technical expert for economic forecast and market intelligence publications. The Senior Vice President will direct the Cost Center Team to ensure commissions are on time, deliverables are met, profit and fee targets are achieved, and business processes are adopted. Process improvement involves identifying, developing, and improving internal project and cost management systems, processes, procedures, templates, and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
  • 7 years of experience in job offered or 7 years of experience in the Related Occupation (Developing cost plans and estimates using CostX and Microsoft Excel including assessing local conditions and providing rate breakdowns (material, labor, plant, and productivity); Delivering and presenting updated costs plans at appropriate design milestones; Reviewing proposed design changes/new technologies and preparing estimates within the appropriate accuracy levels; Understanding design stages and estimating levels; Providing feasibility studies; Performing value engineering; Preparing cash commit forecasts for the entire construction lifecycle; Preparing presentations for key stakeholders; Performing benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture; and Identifying project risks and opportunities.)
