The Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP, Operations) is an executive leadership role with responsibility for Puresan’s end-to-end operational and financial performance. This role owns results across sales execution, distribution operations, procurement, logistics, customer service, and profitability. As a P&L leader and operator, the SVP of Operations drives sustainable growth, margin expansion, and operational excellence while aligning day-to-day execution with long-term company strategy.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, janitorial, or related industries
  • Proven P&L ownership with demonstrated results
  • Strong background in sales leadership, operations, logistics, and procurement
  • Experience in leading warehouse and delivery operations
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams

Responsibilities

  • Own full operational P&L including revenue, gross margin, expenses, and EBITDA
  • Establish and execute pricing strategies across product categories and customer segments
  • Manage cost structure including labor, freight, facilities, and inventory
  • Forecast revenue, margins, and cash flow; ensure budget discipline and accountability
  • Lead and align outside and inside sales organizations to company objectives
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across vertical markets
  • Drive new customer acquisition, and retention
  • Partner with sales leaders on pricing discipline and margin optimization
  • Oversee warehouse operations, delivery fleet, and logistics performance
  • Ensure high order accuracy, safety compliance, and on-time delivery
  • Optimize inventory levels, turns, and working capital utilization
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Lead strategic supplier relationships and negotiations
  • Optimize vendor programs, rebates, and product assortment
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional leadership teams across sales, operations, and support functions
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top operational talent
  • Establish performance management systems and succession plans
  • Execute company-wide initiatives and operational standards
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations
  • Identify opportunities for scalability, efficiency, and market expansion

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
