About The Position

HealthVerity is seeking an SVP, Product to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of the entire product portfolio for the combined company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will own the long-term direction of how HealthVerity transforms data, analytics, and AI capabilities into differentiated, market-leading products. The role involves shaping commercial strategy, capital allocation, M&A, and go-to-market direction, alongside product strategy and execution to drive growth and industry differentiation. The SVP, Product will lead AI-native product innovation, champion platform thinking, drive deep client and market intuition, and oversee the product integration of HealthVerity and Symphony Health. This position also owns product P&L and business outcomes, making capital allocation tradeoffs and driving executive discipline to product economics.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of product leadership experience, including 5+ years as a senior Product leader or equivalent executive role with full ownership of product strategy and a multi-product portfolio at scale.
  • Deep background in healthcare data, life sciences, or health technology.
  • Hands-on expertise across multiple healthcare data types — claims (open and closed, medical and pharmacy), EHR/EMR, lab, Rx/sell-in, SDOH, consumer, and/or tokenized linkage.
  • Demonstrated success leading large data product portfolios serving life sciences, payer, and/or government clients across use cases such as brand analytics, targeting and incentive compensation, RWE/HEOR, managed markets, or patient finding.
  • Proven track record of shipping AI- and ML-powered products at scale — including generative AI or LLM-based capabilities — with a clear point of view on responsible AI in healthcare.
  • Executive-level experience building, leading, and scaling product organizations across multiple product lines, geographies, and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a key member of the executive team — contributing to commercial strategy, M&A, integration, capital allocation, and board-level decisions.
  • A history of operating in fast-moving, complex, regulated environments and consistently delivering against ambitious commercial and integration outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading product integration following a merger, acquisition, or carve-out at executive level.
  • Deep working knowledge of modern data infrastructure (cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures), tokenization and privacy-preserving linkage, FHIR-based interoperability, and OMOP/CDM.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and contractual frameworks: HIPAA, BAAs, data use agreements, de-identification standards (Safe Harbor and Expert Determination), and emerging AI regulation.
  • A quantitative or clinical foundation (data science, biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical informatics, public health, pharmacy, or medicine) paired with commercial executive leadership.
  • Experience presenting to and engaging with boards, investors, and external clients as the senior product voice for a company.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product vision for the combined company, owning and articulating the multi-year product vision and strategy across the entire portfolio.
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging trends to inform innovation and product roadmap.
  • Lead the integration of Symphony Health's products with HealthVerity's platform into one coherent product platform.
  • Translate the company's strategy into a prioritized, measurable product roadmap.
  • Partner with the executive team on pricing, packaging, licensing, commercial strategy, and capital allocation.
  • Represent the product organization externally to clients, partners, investors, the board, and the industry.
  • Build, lead, and scale a world-class product management organization across the combined company.
  • Establish the operating model, leveling, and craft standards for product management at HealthVerity.
  • Drive a high-performance, high-trust culture that attracts top product talent.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of product leaders.
  • Define the AI product strategy for the combined company, including LLM-powered abstraction, retrieval, summarization, predictive models, and agentic workflows.
  • Partner with the Chief Data Scientist and CTO to ship AI features that reduce cost-to-deliver analytics and expand margin.
  • Operate within and advance responsible-AI guardrails and evaluation frameworks suited to regulated healthcare contexts.
  • Champion platform thinking and interoperability, ensuring HealthVerity products are accessible via APIs, embedded analytics, and partner integrations.
  • Serve as the company's executive voice on healthcare data and analytics.
  • Lead enterprise-level voice-of-client work across the client base, translating client needs into product investments and pricing strategy.
  • Own the use-case map across the pharma life cycle.
  • Direct expansion into the highest-growth areas.
  • Own the end-to-end product integration of the combined company, rationalizing overlap, sequencing migrations, protecting client commitments, and capturing strategic synergies.
  • Identify and deliver against revenue and cost synergies.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance to align governance, data use agreements, and supplier terms.
  • Own the financial and operational KPIs for the product organization: revenue, gross margin, adoption, retention, time-to-value, data quality and coverage metrics, AI model performance, and integration synergy capture.
  • Make capital allocation tradeoffs across the portfolio.
  • Partner with the CEO and COO on long-range planning, board reporting, and value creation milestones.
