The Senior Vice President of Information Technology - Enterprise Applications is a strategic, enterprise-wide leadership role responsible for the selection, implementation, optimization, and governance of core business applications. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this leader shapes the enterprise application roadmap, strengthens business processes, and maximizes the value, security, and scalability of the organization’s application portfolio. The ideal candidate is an enterprise-minded technology leader who can balance strategy with execution, partner credibly with business leaders, and lead modernization efforts across complex application environments. This leader builds trusted relationships across the organization, challenges traditional thinking, simplifies complex business processes, and delivers technology solutions that improve operational performance, employee experience, customer outcomes, and long-term enterprise value. Success in this role requires strong judgment, disciplined governance, practical delivery leadership, and the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable business outcomes. In this role, the SVP IT - Enterprise Applications will lead the modernization, governance, and optimization of enterprise applications that support core operations and strategic growth. This position champions enterprise architecture and application rationalization, reducing unnecessary complexity while ensuring technology investments support a scalable, integrated operating model.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience, with proven senior IT leadership in enterprise application management, demonstrating strategic thinking, team leadership, and successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Strong understanding of business processes, process optimization, and the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide ERP or digital transformation initiatives across geographically dispersed, multi-business organizations.
Deep knowledge of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, BI, integrations, and related systems), including integration approaches and data management.
Experience managing complex application landscapes with emphasis on integration, data governance, and security.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, including application lifecycle management, scalability, digital transformation, and alignment with business goals.
Oversee the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, CRM, BI, integrations, digital platforms, customer-facing tools, and other critical software.
Ensure applications are fully supported with clear maintenance plans, upgrade paths, and stability practices that prevent business disruption.
Lead secure integration, interoperability, data flow, and process automation across systems while protecting data integrity and privacy.
Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements and use applications to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Lead enterprise change management and organizational adoption for major technology initiatives through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption strategies that maximize business value.
Establish and enforce application governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and legal requirements.
Partner with data, security, and product leaders to ensure AI-enabled enterprise solutions are transparent, fair, auditable, and aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Build and guide cross-functional IT teams, including internal staff and trusted partners, while fostering innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Manage software vendor and service provider relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
Develop and manage the enterprise applications budget, monitor expenditures, optimize cost-effectiveness, measure ROI of enterprise technology investments and allocate resources wisely.
