About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Integrated Operations is a senior enterprise leader responsible for accelerating performance and enabling consistent, sustainable improvement across Engineering, Operational Excellence and Process Technology, Commercialization, Customer Continuous Improvement (CI) and Network Optimization. This role drives operational excellence, strengthens commercialization execution, and delivers measurable value through disciplined capital deployment, automation, network optimization, and customer continuous improvement methodologies. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader will oversee a fully integrated operating model that aligns strategy, execution, and accountability across Engineering, Operational Excellence and Process Technology, Commercialization, and Customer CI and Network Optimization. The SVP will partner closely with executive leadership to deliver operational targets, unlock cost savings, and build scalable capabilities that support long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field required
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, operations, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives across complex, multi-site operations
  • Experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational performance gains
  • Background in capital planning, automation, network optimization, and advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Strategic enterprise thinker with the ability to translate vision into executable plans
  • Strong financial acumen, including ownership of savings targets, capital ROI, and cost structures
  • Deep expertise in engineering, automation, technology deployment, and network optimization
  • Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to influence at the executive and board level
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across functions
  • Strong change management capabilities with a focus on sustainability and adoption

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Director, Operational Excellence and Process Technology in setting enterprise standards that accelerate performance, improve agility, and unlock enterprise value
  • Establish and embed Operational Excellence standards, including performance management systems, standardized work, and continuous improvement disciplines
  • Deploy technology and digital solutions (MES, analytics, performance dashboards) that create real-time visibility, accountability, and decision support
  • Drive labor and material efficiency and asset utilization improvements, and ensure sustainability of initiatives through internal capability building, governance, and accountability structures
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Engineering organization, including plant engineering, capital project delivery, and automation
  • Own the capital plan end to end, including prioritization, ROI discipline, execution, and post-completion performance validation
  • Advance automation and advanced manufacturing technology adoption to improve throughput, safety, quality, and labor efficiency
  • Establish engineering standards, design specifications, and project governance across the plant network
  • Partner with plant leadership to improve asset reliability, line performance, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Drive value engineering across product and process design to simplify execution and reduce cost while maintaining service and quality
  • Lead the Director, Customer CI and Director, Network Optimization in delivering committed customer savings and performance targets (e.g., $30M+)
  • Own network optimization strategy, including plant footprint, line assignment, and volume placement, to improve cost-to-serve and asset utilization
  • Establish clear targets, assumptions, and governance, and drive cross-functional accountability for CI delivery and customer-aligned value creation
  • Standardize CI and network modeling tools, reporting, and performance visibility to leadership
  • Oversee commercialization execution across the full lifecycle, ensuring alignment from concept through launch
  • Strengthen stage-gate discipline, decision-making rigor, and cross-functional coordination
  • Improve on-time delivery, cost accuracy, and readiness through standardized processes and governance
  • Partner with commercial, R&D, engineering, and operations teams to ensure scalable and repeatable execution
  • Drive new product introduction through cross-functional collaboration (across ~13 functions), streamlining processes, tools, and systems to reduce quote cycle times and improve speed-to-market
  • Lead post-launch performance reviews to ensure margin targets, profitability thresholds, and operational assumptions are achieved
