SVP HHI Operations The SVP HHI Operations has the overall responsibility for the Houston Plant and its performance. Together with the Plant Management Team, this position will ensure that the strategic roadmap for the plant is aligned with the company’s overall strategy, that the plant meets business objectives and production targets in a cost-effective manner, and that the company complies with all relevant regulations. This position is part of the HHI Management team. Beyond ensuring efficient and effective management of the manufacturing plant, this position has a global responsibility for Quality Assurance and owns the global governance of how the Human Health Ingredients (HHI) division contributes to overall operations in Aker BioMarine.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years proven leadership of a manufacturing plant operation with full P&L responsibility.
  • 10+ years relevant experience from Nutraceutical, Pharma, Chemical or Food manufacturing.
  • 10+ years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance and safety standards, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations, improve efficiency and lead capital initiatives.
  • Global mindset with experience working across international teams and supply chains.
  • Excellent knowledge of business management principles such as budgeting, strategic planning, project management, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end performance of the Houston manufacturing operation, with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Deliver production results against aggressive targets, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, yield and cost structure.
  • Lead full plant P&L, including budgeting, capital allocation and operational cost management.
  • Establish and enforce a safety-first, quality-driven culture, ensuring strict adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and hold accountable a high-performing, cross-functional leadership team.
  • Drive strategic initiatives including capacity expansion, site upgrades and continuous improvement across the operation.
  • Ensure robust supply chain and inventory management to meet global demand requirements.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership, aligning plant performance with overall business strategy.
