We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, FX Overlay Sales to join our Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial sales, with experience in securities or financial services preferred, particularly in FX or institutional sales environments.
  • Strong knowledge of FX hedging, with the ability to engage institutional clients on hedging strategies, workflows, and solution design.
  • Decisive, with strong interpersonal and planning skills; comfortable running experiments, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly.
  • Experience building executive-ready materials, including succinct narratives, clean visuals, clear sourcing, and action tracking.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management skills and experience desired, including agile practices, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment, though not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Drive distribution of BNY’s FX overlay suite to institutional clients across the Americas, positioning solutions to address client hedging objectives and workflow needs.
  • Maintain a disciplined, high-quality sales pipeline and convert qualified client engagement into actionable financial opportunities.
  • Achieve financial targets and deepen share of wallet with priority clients through strategic client coverage and solution-oriented selling.
  • Leverage AI and data-driven tools to optimize sales activity, improve efficiency, and support client adoption of FX solutions.
  • Coordinate across internal business units to gather market, product, and client intelligence needed to engage sales targets effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of FX hedging solutions and articulate institutional client hedging needs, positioning BNY’s capabilities in a clear and consultative manner.
