We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering GP&T Client Platform team. This role is in New York, NY. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to impact on our organization in the following ways: Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications aligned with business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and security to deliver innovative solutions. Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technology strategy. Lead the code reviews and debugging efforts. Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards. Partner with stakeholders on project priorities, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution and timely delivery. Continuously contributing directly to the success of project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience in designing and developing large-scale, mission-critical, high-performance, high-availability systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge in design and development of client-facing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot/REST development, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Software engineering experience with demonstrable, recent use of AI-native development tools as a core part of workflow.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and messaging technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka).
  • Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated API testing.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, signed request verification using public/private key cryptography.
  • Experience in using code quality and static analysis tools like SonarQube or Veracode.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, either Scrum or Kanban.
  • Prior experience as a lead engineer working in finance, particularly in payments.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
