About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Enterprise Execution to sit at the center of the SS&C Health team leadership team — a trusted operator and thought partner who helps the General Manager run a multi-function business with the focus, speed, and rigor it deserves. This is not a coordinator role. It is a high-visibility seat for someone who wants to learn how a healthcare technology business is run from the inside, influence the decisions that matter most, and position themselves for a senior operating or P&L role within a few years. If you are a high-performing leader today and you are looking for more scope, more ownership, and a clearer line of sight to general management, this role is built for that next step. End-to-end scope. You will operate across the entire business — not one function. Growth, technology, and operations all report to the General Manager, which means you sit above the silos and see how the whole P&L fits together. Executive exposure. You will be in the room for strategy, board and parent-company reviews, large client decisions, and the hardest operating trade-offs — with a direct line to the GM and the senior leadership team. A genuine growth path. This role is intentionally designed as a launchpad. Senior Vice Presidents who excel here are positioned for senior operating, strategy, or P&L leadership roles as the business grows. Mission that matters. SS&C Health touches the systems that keep healthcare running — member care, claims, pharmacy, and population health. The work you enable has real consequences for real patients.

Requirements

  • Proven operator. Experience as an executive, or in a strategy, operations, consulting, or business-leadership role with comparable scope and executive exposure.
  • Range. You move seamlessly from setting strategy to shaping a board narrative to driving the operational details that make it real.
  • Executive presence. You build trust quickly across functions and levels, and you can influence senior leaders without formal authority.
  • Sharp analytical and communication skills. You structure messy problems, get to the insight, and communicate it clearly in writing and in the room.
  • Judgment and discretion. You operate with discretion, sound judgment, and a high degree of ownership in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
  • Business acumen. Comfort with the dynamics of a technology and services business; healthcare experience is a strong plus but not required — curiosity and the ability to learn fast matter more.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Run the business rhythm. Partner with the GM to set priorities, shape the operating cadence, and keep the leadership team aligned and accountable to the business’s goals.
  • Drive the operating cadence. Lead the design and execution of leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic offsites — setting agendas, framing the decisions to be made, and driving clear follow-through.
  • Turn strategy into action. Translate ambiguous, high-stakes questions into structured analysis and crisp recommendations the GM can act on — spanning growth, technology, and operations.
  • Tell the business’s story. Build the narratives, board and parent-company materials, and executive communications that represent the business to its most important audiences.
  • Own the things that matter. Take direct ownership of select cross-functional initiatives — standing in for the GM, removing roadblocks, and driving outcomes across growth, technology, and operations teams.
  • See around corners. Be an early-warning system for the GM — surfacing risks, connecting dots across functions, and bringing forward issues (and solutions) before they escalate.
  • Be a thought partner. Serve as a trusted, discreet sounding board on people, organizational, and strategic decisions.

Benefits

  • medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • a 401(k) plan with company match
  • paid time off, holidays, and parental leave
  • professional development reimbursement opportunity
