As an SVP, Projects, you will play a crucial leadership role in driving outstanding project management and delivering exceptional results on large-scale data center campus builds and programs. Your primary purpose is to lead and inspire a dynamic team of project managers, ensuring smooth project execution on complex, multi-phase data center developments while fostering their professional growth. You will be responsible for defining project objectives, overseeing timelines and budgets for multi-building campus environments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. In this strategic position, you will also identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center sector to expand client relationships and contribute to the overall success of the PDS team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale data center campus builds or programs.
Extensive hands-on experience managing data center campus builds, including multiple data halls, support buildings, and critical infrastructure across multi-phase development programs.
Proven expertise in coordinating utility infrastructure, power distribution systems, cooling plants, and site-wide MEP systems for data center campuses.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-building data center developments from design through commissioning and handover.
Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements on campus-scale developments.
Strong financial acumen and experience in managing large project budgets ($100M+) and financial reporting.
Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with data center clients and hyperscalers.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions for data center infrastructure challenges.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, project management).
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, Six Sigma, CDCP).
Experience delivering hyperscale data center campuses with capacities exceeding 100MW.
Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier Standards and experience managing Tier III/IV data center certifications.
Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with multicultural teams on international data center programs.
Knowledge of industry-leading project management software and technologies specific to data center construction.
Proven experience in business development and successfully securing new data center project opportunities.
Deep understanding of data center design standards, MEP systems, power distribution, cooling systems, and commissioning processes.
Familiarity with data center-specific construction methodologies, including fast-track delivery, modular construction, and prefabrication strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of project managers executing large-scale data center campus builds, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for complex data center programs, ensuring alignment with clients' goals.
Develop and implement project management strategies and methodologies tailored to multi-phase data center construction to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources for campus-scale developments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Champion a culture of collaboration by actively engaging with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, across all phases of data center campus delivery.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center sector, partnering with the business development team to drive growth.
