About The Position

This role manages the entirety of the ACH Processing unit for Payments Enablement SDG group under Payments processing. It ensures best-practice approaches for streamlining and optimization processes through workflow design and technology, applying in-depth knowledge and expertise on service offerings. The role involves proactive assessment and resolution of complex transaction issues, developing processes for quality improvement and systems to test and maintain cash processing and transactions management. It acts as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve, and is responsible for crafting solutions and methods to resolve issues at hand and similar issues in the future. Additionally, the role recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team. It manages one or more Cash Processing and Funds Transfer teams, is responsible for the achievement of team goals, and ensures the team is equipped to operationalize and attain team objectives. The role also manages the human resources of the team, including coaching, performance management, and career development, and may manage financial resources of the team (budgets, expenses, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred.
  • Critical management role needed with extreme industry knowledge regarding the ACH Batch process.
  • Seeking external industry knowledge as we are currently undergoing ACH modernization and will need industry experience for both internal and external communications.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience in financial investments preferred.
