About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Asset Management is a key member of the Finance Leadership Team responsible for defining and executing enterprise asset management strategy. This role drives cross-functional alignment to optimize asset performance, inform capital allocation decisions, and enhance financial outcomes across the portfolio. The SVP serves as the primary liaison to external stakeholders and ensures consistency, accuracy, and strategic impact in asset-level reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Fifteen or more years of progressive experience in finance, real estate, or asset management.
  • Fifteen or more years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • Five or more years of direct or related asset management experience, including financing and performance optimization.
  • Five or more years of experience in a people management role.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence.
  • Strategic financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Cross-functional leadership and alignment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with competing priorities.

  • Experience with capital structuring and institutional financing strategies.
  • Experience in private equity-backed environments and working with external investors.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Development, Operations, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Accounting to integrate asset-level financial and operational insights.
  • Serve as a central coordination point to ensure alignment between asset performance, budgeting, and enterprise FP&A reporting.
  • Provide executive recommendations on asset repositioning, performance improvement, and long term portfolio strategy.
  • Influence asset-level financing strategies, including structuring, refinancing, and capital optimization.
  • Leverage underwriting models to inform financial decision-making and asset-level performance tracking.
  • Partner with Capital Markets to align financing solutions with operational and customer needs.
  • Oversee asset-level projections, performance tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements, including reporting, covenant tracking, and capital draw management.
  • Lead reporting requirements for Blackstone and other asset-level stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Development, Operations, Accounting, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency, transparency, and accuracy of financial and operational reporting across the organization.
  • Support Treasury in asset-level cash planning, funding strategies, and capital deployment.
  • Provide forward-looking visibility into cash requirements and funding needs.
