About The Position

Advantech is looking for a Senior Vertical Marketing Specialist to lead a go-to-market strategy for our embedded IoT solutions in the medical and mission-critical markets. You'll own the vertical end to end, building programs that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue with medical device OEMs, healthcare technology providers, and system integrators. The ideal candidate brings B2B technology marketing experience, understands healthcare and medical-device purchasing processes, and can translate data into actionable marketing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in high tech, with medical device, healthcare technology, or embedded computing experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of the medical industry landscape, including regulatory considerations and long design-in sales cycles.
• Proven success managing budgets, tradeshows, and multi-channel campaigns from concept to results.
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar) and CRM.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Suites.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to travel periodically for industry events, customer meetings, and company activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the annual medical vertical marketing plan, aligned with sales targets and product roadmaps.
• Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, content, email, paid media, and events to generate and nurture leads at every funnel stage.
• Manage the vertical marketing budget and report on ROI, pipeline contribution, and campaign performance.
• Own tradeshow strategy and execution for key industry events such as MD&M West, AUSA, and GTC DC, from planning through post-show follow-up.
• Build messaging, case studies, solution briefs, and technical content that speaks to medical-device reliability, applicable compliance requirements, and long product lifecycles.
• Partner with Product, Sales, and global marketing teams on product launches, partner co-marketing, and account-based programs.
• Collaborate with Advantech's silicon partners, including NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm, on joint go-to-market initiatives and co-hosted events.
• Plan and host Advantech's one-day industry conference, from agenda and speaker development through promotion, logistics, and lead follow-up.
• Optimize medical/mission-critical vertical landing pages to grow traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Track market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices across the marketing team.
