About The Position

Bcore is seeking a Senior VDI Engineer to support the NGA customer mission. This role is crucial for architecting critical IT solutions, producing actionable intelligence, and developing cutting-edge technology within the Mission Services division, which encompasses enterprise IT, cloud solutions, DevSecOps, systems engineering, software development, and operational support. Requirements

  • Active TS clearance with SCI Eligibility and eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
  • Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later.
  • Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
  • Experience with Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
  • Experience with Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX.
  • Experience with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
  • Experience with Citrix App Layering.
  • Experience with Liquidware Profile Unity.
  • Experience with Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs).
  • Familiarity with HP AnyConnect and Leostream.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience with System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7.
  • Experience with Active Directory/ Group Policies.
  • Experience with Home Directory and Profile management Support Services.
  • Experience with Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.
  • Intelligence Community Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization.
  • Provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
  • Offer guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.
  • Act as a liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
  • Provide endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks related to Virtual Desktops.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
  • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Apply extensive technical expertise and possess full knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.
