Requirements

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance must currently be possessed.
  • Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance must be obtainable.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
  • 5+ years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education.
  • Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later.
  • Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
  • Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
  • Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX.
  • Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
  • Citrix App Layering.
  • Liquidware Profile Unity.
  • Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs).
  • Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream.
  • Active/current TS/SCI level clearance.
  • US Citizenship Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7.
  • Active Directory/ Group Policies.
  • Home Directory and Profile management Support Services.
  • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues across the organization as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
  • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.
  • Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
  • Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
  • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.
  • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Apply extensive technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines.
