About The Position

At Colliers, we are seeking an enterprising, enthusiastic, and collaborative Senior Valuations Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role, based out of our local office, offers a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and accelerate your career in an enterprising environment. As a valuation and appraisal professional, you will analyze data, gather market research, and manage projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for applying a proven understanding of valuation principles and performing valuations for all property types within the commercial real estate industry. You will work alongside talented colleagues to create impactful work that helps clients grow and thrive, embracing new approaches and challenges, and honing your craft through professional development to help lead our industry into the future.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CRE experience/ background to perform the role.
  • Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
  • Work with other Team members and independently across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Independently gather pertinent data through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone interviews with Brokers and Property Managers.
  • Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.
