You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products. As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products. The Google TV team is redefining home entertainment. The team's mission is to simplify the ever-growing media and entertainment landscape, making it easy for users to discover and access all their favorite content in one place. In this role, you will be part of a team that works to build the Google TV experience that powers homes globally, offering personalized discovery and a unified view of movies, shows, and live TV. Leveraging Google's AI and search capabilities, the team delivers relevant suggestions and experiences that help users find their next favorite show or movie, transforming TV into a more helpful and enjoyable experience. Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
Experience with Consumer Electronics.
Experience prototyping using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
2 years of experience leading design projects.
Experience in the media, entertainment, or gaming industry.

Responsibilities

Represent the user in every product discussion, ensuring that platform requirements never compromise the core human experience.
Integrate AI into the design process to explore and iterate on predictive interfaces that anticipate user intent.
Define and prototype how users interact with Televisions (TVs) using voice, gesture, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) inputs.
Manage the design life-cycle for the TV OS, from initial identifying of user friction to delivering polished, high-impact solutions.
Lead the growth of the Google TV design system, ensuring it stays modern, scalable, and adaptable to the latest global design trends and partner needs.
