About The Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior UX Designer to join our Digital Product and Design team and lead the design of intuitive, customer-centric experiences for our travel and all-inclusive vacation booking platform. This role is responsible for driving user experience strategy across key product initiatives, translating complex business and customer needs into elegant digital solutions that enhance usability, engagement, and conversion. As a senior individual contributor, you will play a critical role in shaping the product experience from discovery through delivery. You will partner closely with product owners, UX Research, UI Design, developers and business stakeholders to define user experience direction, influence product strategy, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable design solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in User Experience Design, with demonstrated success designing complex digital products within the travel, hospitality, tourism, or online booking industry.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end UX initiatives for customer-facing web applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, user-centered design methodology, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience designing complex e-commerce experiences and optimizing multi-step transactional journeys.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, information architecture, interaction design, and experience strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, including extensive experience creating, maintaining, and governing scalable component libraries, as well as experience with AI-assisted design tools such as Figma Make to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design exploration.
  • Experience creating, contributing to and evolving enterprise design systems, ensuring consistency across multiple products and teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional product teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to the growth and maturity of a Product Design organization.
  • Master’s degree in design, HCI, Cognitive Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process for strategic product initiatives, from discovery and research through design, validation, and implementation.
  • Define user experience strategies that align customer needs with business objectives and product vision.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer expectations within digital commerce and the online travel industry to inform product innovation.
  • Design complex user journeys across the travel booking lifecycle, including search, package browsing, product comparison, booking, payment, account management, and post-booking experiences.
  • Produce user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate user experience solutions.
  • Partner with the Architect team and Developer teams throughout implementation to ensure design quality, feasibility, and consistency.
  • Conduct and synthesize user behavioral analytics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and validate design decisions.
  • Work closely with the UX researchers to leverage user research and usability testing findings.
  • Drive the evolution, adoption, and governance of the organization's design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to UX standards.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize reusable Figma component libraries that support efficient and consistent product development.
  • Conduct UX audits using industry frameworks, heuristic evaluation principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Identify usability issues and conversion barriers, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Benchmark experiences against industry leaders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and influence product roadmaps through a user-centered approach.
  • Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder presentations, effectively communicating design rationale and influencing decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to designers through constructive feedback, design critiques, and knowledge sharing to elevate overall team performance.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and UX best practices across the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and design excellence.
