About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior User Experience Design Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to enhance user experiences by improving the usefulness, usability, and accessibility of business software products. The role translates business requirements and user needs into impactful design decisions, creating user-centered solutions that drive engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following: Visual Design; Innovative Thinking; UI Concepts and Guidelines skills; Interaction Design; Design Systems management; Communication and Collaboration; Research analysis; and Design tools expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and actionable features based on business requirements and user needs.
• Analyze and evaluate applications, systems, and user interactions across various platforms, including web, multimedia, voice response, and conversational interfaces.
• Develop and communicate design strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering) to implement and refine designs.
• Ensure usability and accessibility standards are met throughout the design lifecycle.
