About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriter to join a specialized Media underwriting team. The portfolio includes traditional media and film & entertainment accounts, with approximately half tied to production companies and content-related E&O exposures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong technical expertise, and demonstrate sound underwriting judgment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of underwriting experience preferred.
• Direct Media Liability underwriting experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience underwriting standalone Media Liability coverage.
• Strong understanding of: Media Liability, Media E&O, Traditional Media, Advertising Agencies, Broadcasters, Newspapers, Film & Entertainment risks, including production company exposures
• Ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
• Experience managing high submission volumes and new business underwriting.
• Ability to quickly assess opportunities and deliver competitive quotes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of submissions effectively.
• Produce approximately three quotes per day, depending on account complexity.
• Deliver competitive quotes within a 48-hour timeframe.
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships across the U.S.
• Underwrite both traditional media and entertainment-related risks, including production companies and content-related E&O exposures.
• Support portfolio growth while ensuring profitability.
• Demonstrate strong technical underwriting skills and sound risk selection.
