About The Position

PetSafe Brands is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead end-to-end design on complex initiatives, mentor junior designers, and elevate the design craft across the team. This role will own the full experience for containment and tracking products, including physical setup, in-app features, and ongoing use. The designer will be embedded in engineering teams, closely partner with hardware teams, and transition into New Product Development (NPD) mode when new products enter their domain.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as an individual contributor.
• Experience with connected IoT consumer products.
• Deep experience with connected hardware / IoT consumer products.
• Has shipped a hardware product end-to-end (not just an app that talks to hardware).
• Comfortable designing for setup, pairing, connectivity states, firmware updates.
• Comfortable embedded in engineering teams and working within hardware constraints.
• Good signal in a portfolio: out-of-box experience flows, device pairing flows, designs that handle real-world hardware edge cases (offline states, low battery, sync failures).
