About The Position

This opportunity provides advanced software development support to a major United States strategic command, contributing to capabilities that underpin national-level strategic deterrence and long-range operational readiness. The Senior UI Software Engineer leads front-end development across the software development lifecycle and builds modern, maintainable user interfaces. The role collaborates with Agile teams and stakeholders, helps guide technical decisions, maintains technical documentation, and supports reliable software delivery through testing, planning, and continuous improvement. The position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately; applicants may also be considered for other consistently available positions at CACI.

Requirements

• Be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of relevant software development experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing modern web applications using frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience working in Agile and CI/CD development environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end software development across requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop modern user interface solutions with industry-standard web technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate across Agile teams using tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to guide technical design and implementation decisions and develop scalable software solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for software design, development, testing, and system enhancements.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code aligned with requirements, coding standards, and performance objectives.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Support project planning and execution by estimating work, identifying risks, resolving technical challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement.
