About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking individuals who want to make an impact and change how the world gets built. You will help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure, making them smarter, safer, and more sustainable. You will work with a team of project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who combine real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform capital projects. The role involves serving as the tunneling technical lead on major underground infrastructure projects, leading constructability reviews, reviewing plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and technical submittals, and supporting procurement planning and contractor evaluation. You will provide construction management oversight during various tunneling operations, review contractor means and methods, evaluate tunneling risks and recommend mitigation strategies, review instrumentation and monitoring programs, and support quality assurance and quality control activities. You will also participate in client meetings and technical workshops, support proposal development and interviews for Water, Transit, and Infrastructure pursuits, and mentor project teams on tunneling best practices. The work location is flexible, including a mix of remote work, onsite client work, or in an Accenture office or center, with some in-person collaboration expected.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of tunneling and underground construction experience.

  • Experience on one or more of the following: Water transmission tunnels, wastewater tunnels, rail transit tunnels, highway tunnels, utility tunnels, major underground infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the tunneling technical lead on major underground infrastructure projects.
