About The Position

At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you will help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure. You will work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future. The work involves preparing comprehensive scopes and RFPs, managing correspondence, administering construction contracts, preparing and managing project budgets, and interfacing with local building departments. The role requires managing construction scheduling and sequencing, advising clients on construction contracts, verifying equipment receipt, monitoring health and safety, conducting meetings, and reporting to senior leadership on cost, schedule, risk, and quality issues. The work location is onsite at client sites, with some in-person time for collaboration and relationship building. Accenture aims to be flexible to support specific work/life needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing lines including electrical & mechanical systems
  • Thorough and complete knowledge of the construction process and management techniques, methods, and materials.
  • Outstanding negotiating skills
  • Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Organized and detail oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Direct data center development experience
  • Experience working in hyper-scale data centers is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive scopes and RFPs
  • Create and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, RFI's, Change Orders, etc.
  • Motivate, develop and maintain subcontractor interest in the project(s)
  • Administer the Construction Contract from inception through construction to project closeout
  • Prepare and manage project budgets
  • Manage and administrate payment application documents
  • Interface with local building department to obtain necessary permits, and coordinate project close-out with building and engineering officials
  • Manage construction scheduling and sequencing, anticipate long lead items, and recognize critical paths
  • Advise the client regarding the Construction Contract and all related matters of the Project
  • Verify and validate the General Contractor receipt of OFCI equipment
  • Monitor and enforce the health and safety requirements onsite
  • Schedule and conduct Owner, Architect, and CM meetings, prepare and distribute minutes of these meetings
  • Hold weekly production and/or safety meetings
  • Review Jobsite progress with an eye toward quality, conformance to drawings and specifications, etc.
  • Report to senior leadership on all cost schedule risk and quality issues
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
