About The Position

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services worldwide. Through 48 domestic offices and three international offices, we deliver trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services to a diverse global client base. The Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) and Global Structured Finance (GSF) groups are specialized divisions within Global Corporate Trust Services. These teams support structured finance vehicles that issue debt and equity securities backed by portfolios of syndicated bank loans, corporate bonds, ABS, MBS, CMBS, and mezzanine debt. The Trust Reporting Analyst 4 role is a senior individual contributor position responsible for managing complex trust-related work while supporting team collaboration and operational oversight. This role requires strong independent judgment, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues autonomously, and the capability to support peers and internal partners as needed. The Trust Analyst 4 is expected to balance individual deal responsibilities with broader team support and approval functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough understanding of syndicated bank loans, fixed income securities, securitization, trading or mutual funds
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify discrepancies or exceptions
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams

  • Prior modeling experience, including the ability to model, QC, and troubleshoot deals independently
  • Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment and supporting shared workload needs
  • Familiarity with CDO or structured finance systems
  • Prior experience reviewing or approving waterfall calculations or payment approvals

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned deals with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assigned work, including deal-level complexities
  • Perform modeling, quality control, and analytical review activities as required for assigned deals
  • Review and approve work products, including payments and waterfall-related items, in accordance with established procedures
  • Serve as a resource to other analysts by assisting with questions or issues when management is not immediately available
  • Collaborate closely with team members and support shared workload needs
  • Communicate effectively with internal partners and stakeholders to support deal execution and operational objectives
  • Adhere to all compliance, risk management, and internal control requirements
