About The Position

This position supports the transportation network for fresh, frozen, and prepared shipments, including freight allocations and equipment utilization for outside carriers and the Tyson private fleet. It assists with overall transportation department supervision and helps ensure customer and plant service levels. The role is fast-paced and involves multiple transactions and tasks; the successful candidate is expected to learn and execute all positions to support the team. The position rotates coverage for holidays, vacations, and time off, and requires working at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). The schedule is a first-shift split shift, covering either the front half or back half of the week. The role trains and supports new team members and requires responsible use of approved AI tools, including protecting sensitive information, following company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs. People leaders are also expected to support responsible AI adoption, identify opportunities to improve team performance, and ensure the quality and accuracy of AI-supported outcomes. Requirements

Responsibilities

Support the transportation network for fresh, frozen, and prepared shipments.
Manage freight allocations and equipment utilization for outside carriers and the Tyson private fleet.

Learn and execute all positions to support the team.
Use approved AI tools responsibly, safeguard sensitive information, follow company policies, and validate AI-generated outputs.
