We are seeking a Senior Engineer / Project Manager responsible for overseeing specific projects and assignments by either leading or participating as part of a team to provide designs for roadway and highway improvement projects. The Senior Engineer / Project Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Professional engineer (PE) registered in the state of Florida (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the state of Florida within 6 months)
6-10 years of engineering experience.
Intermediate to Expert working knowledge of Microstation / Open Roads Designer, Adobe PDF and all other required software.
Significant experience in plans production and specification development.
Must be a detail oriented and driven professional with strong analytical skills, excellent written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and can work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technology and professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Able to work with computer hardware and software applications.
Ability to make sound business decisions independently.

Responsibilities

Oversee specific projects and assignments by either leading or participating as part of a team to provide designs for roadway and highway improvement projects.
Build and maintain the highest level of client satisfaction.
Develop and analyze the project scope, organize the work on the project and set forth the procedures to be employed in accomplishing the project.
Use analytical and observation skills to set a project course or direction, which fulfills the vision and expectations of the client.
Oversee and coordinate with multiple teams both within the Organization and outside the Organization to ensure project milestones, objectives and expectations are met and satisfied.
Review, analyze and efficiently daily communications with clients and internal team members to ensure technical questions and critical priorities are addressed.
Meet with existing clients and prospective clients to effectively communicate, and gain knowledge of their project requirements.
Lead a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians to prepare project designs and construction documents.
Provide technical input and quality assurance.
Develop and monitor the project design / permitting schedule to meet client objectives.
