The Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's (BMS) unique customer model, aiming to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs). The primary goal of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for appropriate patients. This is achieved by engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue, consistent with the product label, and leveraging new ways of working. The role involves building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs, as well as office staff and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum, serving as their primary point of contact. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to enhance the overall Customer Experience (Cx) by addressing HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and performance objectives, exemplifying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, with an anticipated 100% of their time spent in the field with external customers.
