About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer (QA / Automation) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites, executing various types of testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our applications. You will play a key part in our Agile development process, contributing to test strategy and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of QA/test engineering experience
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright)
• Experience validating applications against Agile user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
• Experience supporting release validation in Agile environments
• Experience in federal or legislative systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes, AKS)
• Experience migrating legacy test frameworks to modern tools (e.g., Playwright)
• Experience testing microservices and API-driven systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Cucumber, Selenium and/or Playwright
• Execute functional, regression, and release validation testing
• Validate system functionality against user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to refine acceptance criteria
• Diagnose test failures and support defect resolution
• Contribute to test strategy, coverage, and continuous improvement
