About The Position

9th Way Insignia is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Acquisition Systems Service (EASS) under the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) System Integration & Operational Support Services (SI/OSS) program. This role is classified at the Engineer 3 professional level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Detail-oriented Functional Tester with over 5 years of experience in testing C# and .NET-based applications across web and enterprise environments.
Analyzing business and technical requirements, designing comprehensive test scenarios, and executing functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Using Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, build pipelines, and collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams.
Integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing as part of the build and release workflows.
Using Azure DevOps for test planning, defect tracking, backlog management, and collaboration with Agile/Scrum teams.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through to resolution while working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
Working with Selenium WebDriver for test automation and validation of web applications, with a solid understanding of test frameworks and automated test execution.
Performing API testing using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications to validate RESTful services, including request/response verification, authentication, status code validation, and negative testing.
Automating API tests using C# libraries and integrating API validations with Selenium-based UI tests for end-to-end coverage.
Performing manual testing such as exploratory testing, regression testing, and UAT support to ensure overall application quality.
