About The Position

Lead after-school tennis classes for students in grades K–5 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Create a fun, supportive learning environment where children can learn tennis, stay active, and develop new skills. Classes are 1–1.5 hours and run Monday through Friday, beginning between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The position requires working two or more days per week, for a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. Compensation is $50–$65 per hour. Candidates must be local to the U.S. or hold a valid work visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and creating a positive learning environment.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Must be local to the U.S. or possess a valid work visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching or playing tennis.
• USPTA or PTR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and energize classes of 8–16 students aged 5–10.
• Deliver engaging tennis lessons using provided lesson plans.
• Attend a two-day training session.
• Set up and transport tennis equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Communicate positively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
• Take photos of students during sessions to showcase their progress.
