Requirements

Minimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
10+ years of management experience or experience in a leading capacity.
Extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong track record in financial services.
Fluency in Object Oriented or functional languages including but not limited to Java (preferred), C#, Python
Strong understanding of Data management, Databases and Messaging platforms
Track record of success working in Agile environments (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and continuous integration
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills in a high-pressure environment.
Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable in communicating with business users.
Experience with DevOps & Release Automation
Strong knowledge of Architecture, payments domain and standards

Responsibilities

Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
Contributes to the technology strategy for Payments/Transfers
Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
Be accountable for solution delivery and application management tasks including prioritizing backlog, driving risk and compliance deliverables and supporting audits
Support change management, Production triages, and client remediations for Payments and Transfer domain
