About The Position

This role is responsible for leading enterprise-scale data platform modernization and technology transformation initiatives that support critical business and regulatory outcomes. The position drives strategy, funding, and execution for large, complex programs—including platform upgrades, infrastructure scaling, application migrations, and AI enablement—while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence. The role partners closely with executive leadership, builds and develops high‑performing engineering teams, reduces technical risk and debt, and advances innovation through modern architectures, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a unique blend of strategic leadership, technical acumen, and organizational influence to drive enterprise-scale technology initiatives. This role requires proven ability to lead complex programs, manage risk, and foster innovation while ensuring operational excellence. This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Requirements

  • Over a decade of leadership experience driving large‑scale data platform strategies across data lake, warehouse, and distributed computing systems.
  • Proven leadership in enterprise data architecture, driving scalability, reliability, and modernization of complex analytics platforms.
  • Oversight of security and identity integration, including large‑scale AD/Kerberos implementations to strengthen enterprise data governance.
  • Experience in cluster optimization and performance engineering, ensuring efficient resource management and operational excellence.
  • Broad technical leadership spanning infrastructure, data engineering, automation, and modern development practices.
  • Strong champion of DevOps, automation, and continuous delivery, advancing engineering efficiency through tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
  • Track record of building high‑performing engineering teams, uplifting standards for monitoring, alerting, and operational resilience.
  • Executive Engagement & Influence: Ability to maintain strong partnerships with senior leadership, lead platform reviews, and align technology initiatives with enterprise strategy.

  • Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Track record of delivering AI/GenAI solutions, decommissioning legacy platforms, and implementing cost-efficient in-house models.

Responsibilities

  • Drives strategy, funding, and execution for large, complex programs—including platform upgrades, infrastructure scaling, application migrations, and AI enablement—while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
