About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant for their new Technology Business Development function. This role will focus on identifying and evaluating startups to fill technology gaps, enhancing partnerships with strategic vendors, and collaborating with businesses to understand technology trends and optimize vendor relationships. The position will contribute to building a Venture Capital coverage model, developing tools for tracking startup and VC engagement, and driving growth opportunities for Technology and Wells Fargo. The role involves leading or participating in the delivery of technology products and services for clients, planning large-scale technology solutions, reviewing customer information with the technology team, implementing technical initiatives for complex projects, and conducting research on market environments, innovative products, and regulatory implications. The consultant will also collaborate with the technology team to resolve issues and provide optimal solutions, offering guidance on leveraging new technology.

Requirements

4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

Demonstrated curiosity to understand the potential of emerging technologies, ranging from GenAI to cybersecurity to business-facing applications, among others
Either an understanding of our enterprise technology stack and our strategies and goals in Technology, or a desire and aptitude to learn these areas
Strong analytic, writing, and presentation skills. The product for this role will often be a written brief, spreadsheet/analysis, and/or a slides
Strong interpersonal skills
An ability to build relationships that range from early in career colleagues to more senior members of the WFC team

Responsibilities

Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products & services for medium to large business unit clients
Contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
Review customer information with the technology team
Implement technical initiatives for complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
Lead initiatives for complex projects
Work with the technology team to assess customer information and recommend best solutions to the customer
Conduct research or testing of achieving market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory or compliance issues and implications of new implementations
Collaborate and consult with the technology team to resolve issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
