Senior Technician, Maintenance - Arcadia, WI $2K Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for locating and ordering parts, (e.g., PM’s breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates, energies and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan. Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines, facility and wastewater treatment plant in accordance with Key Performance measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and operational goals.
Requirements
- A vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical or maintenance related field or High School Diploma with 7 years of on-the-job electrical and/or maintenance experience.
- Ability to work training/orientation hours Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM for 4 weeks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, repairs/rebuilds, and perform preventive maintenance on plant and equipment including, but not limited to, pumping systems, pneumatic controls, manual and actuated valves, agitators/seals, and motor bearings.
- Demonstrates proficiency with the operation and maintenance of the plant utility equipment, to include air handling units HVAC, hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, environmental sensors, coolers, boilers, air compressors, and substations.
- Ensures all lockout - tagout procedures are followed.
- Locates equipment problem and discusses potential causes.
- Recommends practical solutions of technical problems.
- Diagnoses problems and repairs blowers, pumps, airlocks, gear boxes, conveyors, valve installation, pipe welding, threading and installation.
