This team develops highly precise clocks, including cesium beam frequency standards, rubidium oscillators, and Chip-Scale Atomic Clocks, for commercial, defense, and aerospace applications. Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years leading hardware or embedded system design, with products you've taken to market
  • Depth in the analysis, simulation, and implementation of embedded control systems, data converters, RF/microwave circuits, and analog/digital filters
  • Clear communication and a track record of working well across disciplines and with leadership
  • Proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3) due to U.S. Export Controls Requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with atomic clocks, precision timing, or positioning/navigation/timing (PNT)
  • FPGA/CPLD design experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of architecture, design, and implementation of complex hardware, including embedded controllers, analog and digital circuits, data converters, and RF/microwave subsystems.
  • Set technical direction and mentor engineers across the team.
  • Own validation strategy, including test, debug, and root-cause analysis, through to production.
  • Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver products.
  • Review and approve schematics, layouts, and design documentation.
  • Ensure designs meet industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Work directly with customers to define requirements and solve hard technical problems.
  • Continuously improve how we design: methods, tools, and process.
