Join us in fueling our electric future. As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Voya Energy, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our diverse, highly-skilled team during a critical growth phase. You will partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire top-tier scientists, engineers, and technical operators passionate about clean energy innovation. This is an opportunity to shape a talented team at the forefront of transformative energy technology.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical recruiting experience within fast-paced, growth-stage hardware companies (clean tech, energy, battery technology, engineering).
  • Strong understanding of highly technical roles within hardware.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches and deliver results against aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent communicator with strengths in stakeholder management and candidate experience.
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable to evolving priorities in a startup environment.
  • Experience building and executing sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
  • Ashby ATS experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles (scientists, engineers, and technical operations).
  • Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs, develop job specifications, and understand role requirements.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and utilizing a variety of channels.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for both technical and cultural fit.
  • Manage candidate experience from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR on employer branding, diversity initiatives, and best recruiting practices.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to inform hiring strategies.
