Role We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This is a hybrid role based in San Jose, CA (on-site Tuesday-Thursday), reporting to the Head of Technical Recruiting. You will be a key driver in identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent for Zscaler. You will serve as a strategic partner to our engineering leadership, ensuring we build world-class teams through inclusive and thoughtful execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training
  • 8+ years of in-house recruiting experience within the tech industry
  • Proven hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, other sourcing tools, and niche job boards
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders to lead and manage complex searches in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to generate enthusiasm about opportunities to prospective candidates

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized experience recruiting for AI/ML engineering, data science, Managed Detection and Response, or research roles
  • Demonstrated achievement in inclusive hiring practices and building highly targeted, diverse talent pipelines
  • Background working in both large companies and start-up environments

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and hire top technical talent for Zscaler
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to create and drive recruiting strategies for world-class engineering teams
  • Collaborate, advise, and support hiring teams from recruitment kickoff meetings through candidate negotiation and close
  • Champion and implement inclusive hiring practices with urgency and thoughtful execution
  • Build and cultivate quality candidate pipelines across a variety of technical searches in a competitive talent environment
